  especially obvious when something
  goes wrong. But once you're aware
  of your body's amazing daily
  performance, you can only feel awe
  and respect for its superb intelligence
  – just think about all the cells in every
  part of your body that know exactly what to do when
  it’s time to heal a cut or fight an infection.

And everyone has experienced the mysterious but miraculous       teamwork of our mind-body communication, for both good and bad. Start daydreaming about your last vacation at the beach and feel yourself begin to relax. Or just the opposite happens when you’re under too much stress: your body sends you unmistakable signals that it’s time to seek relief and ignoring these signals often means we get sick.

But here’s the good news: not only can we choose how we want to live (everything you think and do is up to you), but choosing to be healthy is pure pleasure. Think about how great you feel when you’re taking care of yourself and decide to lose extra weight, stop smoking, take a break from stress, or do what it takes to get enough sleep and exercise. And knowing how to overcome those negative messages we all have playing in our heads – that’s the real key to confidence and success in everything you do whether it’s choosing a healthy lifestyle, passing an exam, running a marathon, or developing your creativity.

What this means in simple, everyday terms is that we can actually create our life including the wonderful (or not) results we often take for granted or assume “just happened” to us. How? By taking control of our lives and choosing our own beliefs, truths, thoughts, responses, and actions. Imagine how freeing and powerful this is.











I'm happy to report that I'm over 50 and enjoying perfect health. I haven’t had a health crisis since my 20’s when I became seriously ill during a period of extreme stress. That was my wakeup call and I decided to do everything within my control to be healthy for the rest of my life. Since genetics isn’t on my side (my family’s health history includes stroke, heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer, and diabetes), I have to conclude that my lifestyle choices have something to do with my positive outcome.

Of course, I had to learn the hard way, through experience, how to create a healthy life. When I was in high school and college, I struggled with eating disorders, smoking, lack of exercise, and the emotional hurdles from having parents whose self-destructive habits were an inspiration for how
not to live. So I focused my attention on making wise choices every day, and I've maintained my ideal weight and stayed fit ever since I was 25 with a balanced lifestyle.

There are many wonderful healing practices available to us, which teach us the wisdom of our bodies and how to use our mind-body communication to our best advantage:
yoga, acupuncture, acupressure, Reiki, Rosen bodywork, Ayurveda, and much more. Expert advice on holistic nutrition and fitness is also valuable in helping us make the right choices every day.

I chose hypnotherapy as my key to unlocking the secrets behind the mind-body door. Why? Because I like the idea that all you need is your imagination to create your reality. We all have an imagination, which sadly is often underused as we become adults, it’s accessible to us 24/7, it’s enjoyable (pleasure is key), and it’s free! It doesn’t get better than that.

I’d be happy to be your teacher and guide in the use of hypnosis as a powerful, effective method for gaining insight and clarity in your thinking, letting go of harmful thoughts and behaviors, and learning a new way – the best way for you – to create a joyful, healthy life.
